How much do you charge?
A number of standard prices can be found at the home page of the site, however in the instance that the required work deviates from this list, a detailed price plan will be discussed, taking into consideration budgets, time, and desired results. Of course all quotes are no-obligation, and there is never any pressure to accept prices at the door; In act, all quotes are delivered via a paper, letterheaded quotation sheet, with no follow up calls until you confirm. All quotes are designed to be extremely competitive, so haggling is not an option, however alterations to the job are always welcome pre-acceptance.
Who will turn up to the job?
Goulden Lawns is a sole trader business, so all work will be completed by myself. This includes all calls, texts & email correspondence. On the occasion that a laborer is required, confirmation with yourself will happen before they are introduced to site.
What happens to waste?
We always encourage customers to deal with their waste using at-home recycling methods. Waste can be removed from site, however to keep costs low for everybody, limiting this is a priority. Where waste is removed from site, a licensed waste removal expert will be contacted, will all waste being responsibly disposed of.
What tools will be used?
All tools will be provided by Goulden Lawns, and all standard gardening equipment is self powered, so no access to power outlets is required. Where specialist tools or water access is needed, this will be discussed prior to works commencing.
How do you take payment?
All standard forms of payment are taken, including cash, card and bank transfer. Electronic payments will be supplied with an invoice, either email, text or paper. Cheques can be accepted, however these will incur a standard fee of £1.50 due to bank processing fees.
What happens if there is a problem?
With an experienced gardener, comes alot of garden experience! There are very few problems that can't be solved by direct viewing at the time, and when the occasion arises that a problem occurs in between works, your satisfaction and peace of mind is of the utmost priority.
When will you come, are you reliable?
Visits are scheduled via a 28 day cycle, so the visit will always be on the same day, at around the same time. Where a visit isn't possible due to circumstances beyond control, as much notice as possible will be given. There is also no need to worry about bills, it goes without saying, no show-no pay!
Do you take the enviroment into consideration?
Where possible, enviromental concerns have been allowed for. This includes the use of battery powered equipment, along with all two stroke unleaded fuels having been replaced with a low pollluting alternative "Aspen-2" Change is dependant on possibilities however, so as Goulden Lawns continues to grow, we aim to improve vehicle & unleaded enviroment standards.
